Making Spirits Bright - A Springfield Holiday Tradition
This is a special time to gather with family and friends to sing carols, enjoy a lighted Christmas parade that you and your family can participate in, then gather at 2nd and Main Streets for the lighting of the Christmas tree.
The Springfield Youth Athletic Association (SYAA) serves up a delicious soup supper at the Community Building before the parade.
We will also sip hot chocolate, roast s’mores at the fire pits and enjoy freshly baked cookies!
This is a beautiful beginning to the holiday season. This annual ceremony is held the Monday of Thanksgiving week.
