Springfield Memorial Library - Position Opening
PART-TIME, SEASONAL LIBRARY ASSISTANT
The Springfield Memorial Library has an immediate opening for a part-time, seasonal library assistant. This person will work approximately 12 hours per week from the end of May through the end of July, with the possibility of extension into a regular part-time position.
Duties include preparing and organizing materials for Summer Reading Programs, assisting with children’s programs, checking library materials in and out, shelving materials, straightening shelves, and providing general assistance as needed.
Applicants willing to work with children are preferred.

Springfield Maintenance Department - Position Opening
SEASONAL GROUNDS & MAINTENANCE WORKERS
The City of Springfield Maintenance Department is looking for seasonal grounds and maintenance workers to work approximately 30-40 hours per week during the summer months.
Duties include assisting with park maintenance (watering trees/landscaping/flowers, mowing, trimming), building maintenance (painting, cleaning), street repairs (pouring concrete, filling potholes, tarring cracks), and other miscellaneous maintenance projects.
*Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
*Applicants must have a valid driver’s license.
